A product manager who can sit with engineers as an equal.

You need someone who owns a problem from the first user conversation to the release, and brings the engineers along instead of handing them a spec. That is the job I have done for the last eight years, on services charities cannot afford to get wrong.

  • 12+ years in software, so the plan I bring is one the team can build
  • Open to Product Manager and Senior Product Manager roles

What you get

  • Discovery that turns into decisions.

I start with the people who use and run the service, and turn what they tell me into a direction the team can see, question and build.

  • Roadmaps engineers believe.

Because I know how things get built, I can tell you early when a plan will not hold, and what would make it hold.

  • Stakeholders on the same page.

Service owners, partners and funders pull in different directions. Bringing them to one decision is the part of the job I lean into.

Products I have shaped

  1. A computing education platform for UK schools

    A computing education charity

A computing charity runs free courses where young people design and build apps for problems they care about. I was main developer on its platform, then led the build of the new one: courses that any teacher can deliver well, and industry volunteers matched to classes. The programme reached 30,444 young people in 708 schools in 2024/25.

  2. Migrating a property inspection business off InventoryBase

    A UK property inventory agency

A UK property inventory agency wanted 14 years of inspection records out of InventoryBase and into a platform it owns. I led the engineering: took over the live link with Airtable from a half-built sync service, then moved more than 60,000 inspections and over 4 TB of reports and photos while staff kept working.
