A short brief is enough to start. Include what you know, and leave out what you do not.
- Who the first user is.
- The hero workflow in five to eight steps.
- What done means for version one.
- Required integrations.
- What data already exists, and roughly how much.
- Non-negotiable constraints.
- Who decides.
Rates
Clear before we begin.
Day rates are the normal basis for product work. What you pay depends on the scope and where you are, so I quote per engagement rather than publish a price list.

Priced as a day rate, quoted in your currency, against your local market. Tell me the scope and where you are, and I will come back with a number. - Shorter work is priced separately
Audits, reviews and second opinions under a day carry a higher hourly rate, because dropping into an unfamiliar codebase costs more per hour than a sustained engagement.
Availability
2 to 3 days per week, from August 2026
